Yes, bypassing digital handcuffs and sharing object code would be legal. There are plenty of malicious hates to deny the user freedom and therefore software would still be made proprietary via withholding the source code by monsters.

Many businesses made software proprietary via NDAs out of pure malice and contempt that the user would have freedom, when copyright did not apply to software. Such disincentives would still exist if software was to fall out of copyright.

I am open to arguments on copyright existing or not but total fucking patent death fr. Most abused legal system in the entire world and it needs to be done away with.

Copyright is restrictions on copying very specific and tangible material. You cannot infringe copyright by accident. Patents are literally restricting you from having ideas that you can very easily come up with yourself with no outside influence.

Patents can be infringed on a desert island with no contact with the outside world.
