They sort of are in that they're all split up into different DLLs but they main program you run has to account for all the different possibilities of those tools being interacted with. I want to say probably the integration you get from not having to explicit export and import things gives an advantage over separate programs... but it's hard to say given how slow everything runs because of that integration. It's not a nice feeling to work in this. Feels like wading through mud.
