MC is off with Counters on another mission, this is effectively a (very important) side story surrounding the next Old Tales squad member for us to "see what her fate was/is." Cinderella and Abe were the first of Old Tales to be introduced via main story, and we got to meet the rest of Old Tales in the eponymous Old Tales event for second anniversary. I can understand where people would get yuri vibes, but in the same way Mihara would never leave Yuni, neither would Sam leave Frodo. Mihara and Yuni find solace in each other basically as dejected military assets, but certain events give them a redemption arc and power up. Indeed, some of the Nikkes do love each other, but not in the same way they **love** the MC. That being said I'm super anxious about the next Old Tales related event. Nikke is all about hope in times of bleakness, but sometimes... the heroes do lose and tragedy strikes. Idk if my heart would be able to take it @blueknightfrank@varishangout.net

My yearly tribute to my inspirational artists junkpuyo and errorkazoo's OCs, and my Yolanda as magical girls that I finished last night. I'm super, super happy with the outcome of this drawing. Just, everything turned out great, especially the faces, which I've been putting extra effort in to improve. Additionally, I love the color coordination of the girls' position and poses, and the background. Space is really fun to draw and I tend to find myself using night skies or outer space.

@nach@detroitriotcity.com 6 is actually going to be a very relaxing spot and my personal choice. Hina, girl to the left of seat 6, is a rather reserved and mature girl (one of my fav characters). Hoshino to the right of square 6, will probably sleep the whole plane ride (though she might hold onto you a bit). Peace is the ultimate luxury, and every other slot is going to be either chaotic or restless in some way (especially 3, you will have no personal space). EDIT: The two girls in front of you (Kisaki and Shun) are also well mannered girls. They may have a bit of a conversation with you, but they won't annoy you or anyone else. Overall, you're entirely enclosed by girls with good behavior and respect. If you want to get your rocks off you pick seat 8, you'll probably get handies or a blowy. SamBox9029

But what separates us from the masses is, in my opinion, a maturity to not only appreciate and even be enthused by the "gooner" aspects, but then to also be extremely introspective and appreciative of the elements of the games that give them "soul." I can simultaneously go "mating press now" when shown one of these girls, but at the same time think long and hard about the human themes being explored in the story. Now that I think about it, I haven't shared art on fedi in a very long time. I finished this one about two weeks ago, and I'm super happy with it. Painting is so fun. At the end of all my struggles trying to figure out how I like best to illustrate, I ended up returning to tradition and painting. In fact, I threw out line art altogether ! XD Rendering like this, especially on the hair, could not be achieved with cel shading, and I'm extremely satisfied with my development so far.

AE2 is a mod that is right in between complex and vanilla-primitive. ExtendedAE makes it scale really well with resource intense modpacks.
