America in a nutshell. Everyone who wants to preserve this system is an enemy of mankind.

You'd think that worshipping the killers of Christ instead of Christ would be the easiest wholesale inversion of the entire religion to spot, but apparently everyone is fucking retarded nowadays. I'm not sure people this stupid will exist by the end of the century.

Ah yes, centuries of "economic knowledge" that just amounts to "Whatever keeps the current regime in power at the expense of the people they rule over." Gosh, wouldn't want to break any of those fundamental laws of nature.

>When the US government facilitates the offshoring of industry and labor and the importation of a billion third world retards to live on welfare and work for cheap
"That's the free market!"
>When someone proposes the US government clear a regulatory path, recruit expertise, and provide the financial base to restore critical US industry
"That's socialism!"

Yeah, if there were a plan, it would have already been announced, since there would be no reason to conceal it, and the amount of initiatives you'd have to get moving would be impossible to conceal anyway.

Still waiting on even the barest hint of a plan for rebuilding American industry that isn't underpants gnome-tier:
1) Tariffs
2) ?
3) Industry

Hell, the fundamental point of tariffs is to protect domestic industry and incentivize the restoration of domestic industry. The problem is, the US has no domestic industry that can replace what was offshored, and no longer has the capability to restore it either.
The US replaced industrial giants with financial giants, and spent multiple generations purging its most talented and high-agency people from all related professions, and thus no longer has the institutional knowledge or expertise required to rebuild domestic industry.
On top of that, none of the regulatory roadblocks have been removed either, so even if we had well-capitalized industrial giants with a pool of superb engineers at their disposal, ready to go day one, they'd still never be able to get a single project off the ground in any rapid fashion.
Before we worried about tariffs, we had to deal with all these issues, and instead we're cargo culting in the belief that placing tariffs just summons domestic industry into existence.

"We would learn not to depend on grocery stores and supercenters but our friends and neighbors."
Boomer misses the forest for the trees. Before anything else can work to ameliorate the issue, we need to have /friends and neighbors/ again.

"DEI, a policy of excluding white, straight men from employment, is the exact same thing as wanting to work less than 80 hours a week."
There are so many people in this country that need to just be exiled to Luigi's Mansion rather than engaged in any sort of debate, and this guy is clearly one of them.
