the only games that I've ever found that don't work on linux at all are kernel level anti-cheat shit in multiplayer games that are designed that way on purpose because the devs are lazy faggots, host games at the user level, and can't prevent linux users from running hacks so they just don't allow you to log in to the servers if the game detects that you're running it on a non-windows OS the rest are AAA games that came out yesterday and typically don't work well on windows either for a few weeks after launch only time I ever had to run wine tricks to get a game working was to install the dlc for Mass Effect because it's so old the shit is added with it's own .exe if you're not some zoomoid who needs to play the latest streamer slop because "muh FOMO" then it just works and works well
