i'm starting to figure out how mlp is good at making boring stuff really entertaining
i think it's obvious, but there's always some personal desire that comes from each situation (not always the protagonist of the story of the episode, but whomever is involved)
and sometimes, when the personal desire to prove yourself in a trivia quiz is enough to drive you batshit insane and sabotage everyone, including your own friends, it makes for some very entertaining spectacles
