@nyanide@lab.nyanide.com I've heard a good case for javascript as being not so slow with functional programming, and for being easy to run on any device for all stages of development so you can have a mono-language codebase. not for the frameworks tho, those are just bloat.

@Cyrillic@lab.nyanide.com Vanilla JavaScript is not unbearable correct but people have somehow managed to become extremely autistic over a high level programming language that's primarily used on the web.
