I just slogged through this 50 min video at 1.5 speed to see if this libtard could come up with an argument for why Frieren's racism is bad, and the entire thing is just exploring the possibility that maybe just hypothetically under perfect conditions the demons could become non-evil and they shouldn't be exterminated. But in the examples he cites from the story where this idea is explored, its made pretty clear that humanity would just be exterminated in the mean time if gradual coexistence with demons were attempted.
I bet all of this guy's content involves pretending to be smarter than he really is.

"You say the demons are bad, yet there is this one scene in the story where a demon is sad about something. Curious."

@Rudolf_von_Goldenbaum@poa.st Demons being irredeemably evil? Unthinkable!

Decades of Marvel capeshit and antiracism has made it impossible for them to comprehend that killing your enemies could be a good thing.

Huh? No, it shows what happens when one doesn't subscribe to one simple rule:
TOTAL DEMON DEATH

It's a decadent and destructive morality that puts a hypothetical scenario above everyday perception.

It's frustrating because there are lots of anime that do moral complexity on the scale of nations and tribes well (Princess Mononoke, Naruto), but they are not ambiguous about it, and they handle it very well. They want you to know that this is the part of the show, and the struggle for the characters.
Frieren goes out of it's well to let you know that it isn't the point of this specific show, but midwits really want to be like "yes, but what if..."

@mage@poa.st @Rudolf_von_Goldenbaum@poa.st The story makes it clear that not even demon children should be spared, and that whenever a demon tries to pull a Not So Different on you, he's lying through his teeth.

Yeah the humans in the story already try to do what the youtuber here is asking them to do, Frieren being a gigaracist actually makes her unusual within this world.

Yeah I watched a video essay about how sure the main villain of Disney's Atlantis was smart, but he was real greedy. Sure he found a team of capable people, but they all just agreed with him and leaders somehow don't just manipulate people to get the job done they somehow get people to work for them through the kindness of their hearts. What a load of bull

This.
Humans have seen only a couple of demons and often think "maybe there's a good one somewhere".
Frieren has seen many thousands.

Alignment should have stayed a Moorcockian marker of which cosmic team a character had been drafted into, regardless of their will or knowledge.

Good thing we didn’t do that in the real world

@Rudolf_von_Goldenbaum@poa.st the absolute best interpetation you can give is that demons view humans as prey and dont sympathize with them in the same way you dont care about how the deer you hunt feels
Nothing personal, just the circle of life
Thst still makes it suicidal to have any kind of relation with them

There's plenty of human women with BPD if you really want to experience the uh...joys of sexually associating with a female entity that's going to destroy your life. We don't need demons, period.

She could made Aura do ANYTHING since she was practically a slave after that moment thanks to her own magic's main effect.

@Eiswald@poa.st @Rudolf_von_Goldenbaum@poa.st @Shadowbroker2135@poa.st Think the main issue would that any word spread of Aura being used to do good would make it easier for other demons to do horrible things with the positive reputation
