After reading through half of demon slayer I really don't get why people shit on it Sure it's kinda mediocre in some aspects but through 18 volumen My poz radar never reacted, really it's pretty much the indomitable human spirit vs pure evil

@rlier23@varishangout.net the complaints i usually hear are that zenitsu ruins it with his constant yelling/bitching, but i dont find it annoying cause Asta from black clover desensitized me from it. But yeah demon slayer is good. manga is as well

@rlier23@varishangout.net i disliked it at first. the writing is super simplistic and kinda stupid and all the powers feel like asspulls. its really grown on me though, specially after the train movie. i still think its shonenslop but its not too bad. its carried hard visually, the industrial JP aesthetics are great while urban slop like JJK and CSM still makes me gag, not to mention those seem to be in a competition to see how depressing they can be while DS always breaks it up with sweet moments and comedic relief. comparatively i think MHA went to shit after just 2 seasons. we'll see how it ends but so far its my pick for this generations best shonen if only for the aesthetics alone.

@smugumin@bae.st Demon Slayer while being shonen slop IT'S STILL GOOD shonen slop and i think it does a good job at pushing the right values about mortality, doing good deeds and the eradication of evil Also talking about the anime i Will Say one thing, besides how good it looks, it's also autistically loyal to the sources material like 99% of what is in the manga is on the anime, nothing was cut, all fanservice, all jokes, all details are in the anime plus some brand new scenes As an adaptation kimetsu no yaiba is what every anime should be

My shounen slop of choice is Bleach. Interesting premise, badass character design, good humor and a likeable main character. Idgaf what anyone says, Bleach rocks. Used to make a lot of AMVs with Ichigo's theme. Goes hard as fuck.
