I have polyester blankets and some pajama pants, but that shit is a bitch to wash. The first time you wash it the fabric looks fucked, so I've stuck to cotton because it's cheaper and washes better. I don't have a regular washer and dryer I have this mini piece of shit I bought from Amazon that washes my clothes, and it sits in my bathtub. Any large blankets I have to take the laundromat, which costs $5 for wash and $5 for drying. The microplastic shit is already in the air and water anyway. There really is no escape from it, just be glad our fucking enemies are affected too.

Having clean clothes is kind of on the bottom of the list. There might not be any water to wash clothes with. A 12V washing machine is an interesting idea, but would probably drain my batteries too much.

Diseases after SHTF are are likely to kill more people than the first wave. People will be drinking whatever water they can find.
