The flu has widespread annual vaccinations which prevent countless infections and deaths—even if you don’t personally get vaccinated, everyone else who does is effectively protecting you!

With both the flu and COVID-19 you can pass an infection before showing symptoms, putting others at risk—even if you feel fine! So if you are eligible and able to get vaccinated, you could potentially save others' lives. That should be enough reason.
