yeah, certainly possible, but that's a huge amount to drop for being a loss leader, traditionally they would make the milk cheaper by a few percent, to pull in the cost conscious shoppers

this is the orange juice they are talking about in those contracts its frozen in a 220L barrel for transport. they then mix with water at end point. costco sure as fuck is making money.

there are different grades. the "fresh never frozen" is almost always more expensive, because they separate the components for storage
