Ok I would accept majora’s mask as spiritually open world.Most Zelda games were way too linear to count including ocarina, twilight princess, and skyward sword.Link to the past is also surprisingly unlinear but it’s 2D so doesn’t count here

Maybe forest temple x fire temple. Water temple is a hard block. Then shadow and spirit can kind of be reversed buuuut there’s that one place you need the hover boots.Also, ocarina’s side quest game is very limited.Comparing ocarina to majora’s mask is night and day. Majora’s mask was actually designed to be only semi-linear
