Keep that promise. It's not even about the financial aspect of keeping a good drunk going, it's what it costs you on the inside. You literally get to a point where nothing matters because you can just drink everything off instead of realizing the negative things you feel inside are things you need to change, and things you need to feel to feel the motivation to change. Take it from someone who rode the SSRI meme train for several years. You take anything for your brain, I promise you it's going to mess you up. I wish I could describe how my sense of clarity has been completely destroyed even without being on the meds anymore. Sometimes it's there, sometimes I can really get into some interesting dialogue when I have those moments of clarity, but every other waking second is going to be just general retardation.
