I think often about one of my favorite science fiction books lately. **spoiler** It revolves around a futuristic planet which was colonized by the Chinese, and the Chinese government has altered the DNA of the entire population. I won't spoil more than that, but it's on my mind a lot lately. Children of the Mind.
