How is not marrying or having kids a problem AT ALL, unless you’re invested in the replacement rate or resent the existence of happy single women?

I’m truly interested in what harm not hurting anyone, paying taxes, voting, going on vacations, being active in your community and friend group, being an aunt, great-aunt causes. All they are doing is opting out of one thing, which is engaging with men sexually and increasing the carbon footprint. What is the problem?

@ApeBass@spinster.xyz I’d honestly hate to think that most women wouldn’t be able to live without minimal contact with men if given the freedom to do so. Which brings us full circle to the original point. Men get so much more out of relationships with women than women do with men.

If you think compulsory reproduction just so there can be more wage slaves is going to be good for the quality of life for people that survive the next 50+ years, your opinion is worthless. There was something extraordinary, except for the God stuff, about convents of old, where if women wanted to get away from 99% of men, they could take a breather or commit their lives and be physically and emotionally safe, and the feminine performance of being fuckable even when you didn’t want sexual attention and male approval was discarded. I think you have to experience the alternative to be able to choose it without regrets or FOMO.

If you prioritize emotional and sexual relationships as a straight woman, separatism as a philosophy is not for you. If you’re a mother with a male partner or have sons, obviously those men are in your life to stay. Separatism wouldn’t cross that woman’s mind as a practical reality. If the issue is the desire for sexual intimacy, you can get that, but that’s beside the point. I’ve had a fair amount of sex with and spent most of my life in relationships with men. I came to separatism (and veganism) late in life, but it’s not for everyone. Sometimes I crave a rare steak or a good dick but it passes. Personally I’m content. I can’t speak for anyone else. It’s not like the world is full of desirable men who I’d be compatible in a relationships with the way it’s full of great steak and seafood restaurants, so it’s not as if I’m tempted.

I wasn’t talking about social harm I was pointing out your false equivalence, but as long as you brought it up, I’m Voluntary Human Extinction Movement. Speaking of individualism, a heterosexual pairing or family is more than one person. Choosing to not take one for the team, mate and breed if you have no maternal or paternal instinct and no natural disposition toward domestic partnership, you are sparing one or more people years of mental suffering, which costs society.

Instead of avoiding animal products *as much as can be realistic* to minimize harm to them, it’s minimizing contact and exposure to men and systems that exploit women as much as can be realistic, thus minimizing harm to women.
