@georgia@netzsphaere.xyz @duponin@udongein.xyz @gopiandcode@freespeechextremist.com @hyphen@anime.website @methyltheobromine@netzsphaere.xyz @pernia@shitposter.club ah well, what the heck, here's the first few paragraphs, translated to Arabic, up until the link to the petition (https://rms-support-letter.github.io/). I don't think I can do much more, but those paragraphs seem to be enough to give an overview of the issue, and direct people to the Arabic version of the petition. Maybe someone else might pick up where I left off or something. The translation is attached. I will also send this to leah, but not sure if she'd care for a partial translation. (don't send me grans btw, doing this for personal reasons).

@hyphen@anime.website @duponin@udongein.xyz @georgia@netzsphaere.xyz @gopiandcode@freespeechextremist.com @methyltheobromine@netzsphaere.xyz @pernia@shitposter.club this couldn't have come at a worse time :/ I would have loved to help, as I see the attack on Stallman to be baseless, full of blatant lies, and absolutely treturous. I feel indebted to him, and to everyone in the free software community. But I can't translate this article, sadly, because of recent nerve problems severely impairing my hands' motor ability. i.e. I can barely type a paragraph right now. The open letter itself on https://rms-support-letter.github.io/ is already translated to Arabic (https://rms-support-letter.github.io/index-ar.html), so that's good. thanks for drawing my attention though :]

@nerdman@kiwifarms.cc @NaiJi@udongein.xyz I had code nightmares before, but thankfully, they didn't include trypophobia. They were bad enough already.

@nerdman@kiwifarms.cc @NaiJi@udongein.xyz Expanded, the holes look a lot less hole-y and it doesn't trigger me. The straws though, especially the one going into the smallest hole lol > Shintaro Kago haha now we're talking. > Realize you're poking a monitor and there is no spoon. I mean hole. It's weird. I don't panic from seeing stuff like that on screen because I know it's just a screen. My heart and breath still race, and I get sweaty anyway, plus, when it's really bad (good?), it somehow leaves a "print" in my mind, so I still see it when I move my eyes away from the screen just like one sees a print of green after looking at a very strong red light
On the other hand, seeing anything like that IRL is really tough to handle. I get nauseous quickly and almost throw up. > YOU GOT THIS Thanks. Well, I try
If it's like other phobias, then I guess exposure therapy is the way to reduce it probably...
