@Terry@freespeechextremist.com @GearHeadAniki@poa.st Again, I don't think whether anyone changes between political extremes is good evidence against the horseshoe theory. The core meaning appears to be that left and right extremists share some traits. This can be the case even if they hate each others guts, due to ideological differences they care very much about but which don't seem as fundamental from an outside view. I'm not 100% on board with horseshoe theory but one should use the right arguments against it.

Christians and Muslims have quite a few things in common, yet I don't expect the typical example of neither to change from one to the other at the drop of a hat.
