@sjw@neckbeard.xyz in my opinion, per/perse is the opposite of transphobic. Stallman, always the idealist he has always been, thinks English should have dedicated genderless pronouns, because he wants the people who need it to have one. His proposal, in my opinion, shows how much he cares about non-binary folks. He wants a dedicated pronoun so that their identity is elevated to the same status as men and women. He does not want to settle on reusing an existing pronoun. Instead of trying to find where to fit non-binary people into the English language, he wants to give them their own dedicated place in the very core of it. Well, maybe I am interpreting a bit here... But at least, I do not understand how one could argue wanting to create a pronoun for non-binary people is transphobic.
