Do you have any reason beyond "It's foss"? One half of the Linux community seems fine to accept sub-standard software as long as it follows their exact philosophy. It's like vegans. Sure you *can* roughly do everything that a non-FOSS system can do but... it really will impact your quality of life from what I'v eseen. I accept some cows are mistreated (Windows) but that does not mean I can't enjoy others who have been given a better life (Linux) I'm happy to simply have a community maintained operating system which is more actively developed than the alternatives, what specific licenses get ascribed to that I don't really give a shit about as long as the software is good. Would I kill myself if I couldn't walk? Probably not but I'd lament that I could no longer hike. TL;DR Help me understand why you'd use (what seems to be) a far inferior operating system (if not just because it's FOSS)

"The kids in school are hotter than Japanese women" is probably the worst fucking take you could have given. (This is a joke)

Sort of, also with sorting algorithms and sich. It's called Tower of Hanoi. Imagine you have 3 poles (A, B, C) and N disks. The discs can only be in ascending order of size so a larger disk can never go on top of a smaller disk. The goal is to move the stack from the left-most column to the right-most column. You can only move one disk at a time and only in a LIFO fashion. Now the trick is writing a program which can solve for it, to be honest I get the joke but... it doesn't seem that hard. I'm supposing it might be a leetcode question or a common problem given in CS classes hence the PTSD. It's actually the perfect kind of problem to be broken down into sub-problems -- aka ideal for recursive functions.

I think iterating over a string to get it's length is kinda retarded. Kirby has a point that any decent language probably caches and updates a "length" property of the string and will have MUCH faster access time.

I agree with Kirby because he has an anime pfp and seems chiller. I have no other reason to believe this.

You can't just fucking prompt an AI to not swear, you need multiple layers and contingencies. Either that or scrub any message with swear words from the training data Vedal has it down best, Neuro is prompted to not swear. Every sentence she says goes through another neural net (presumably) that decides if it's okay for her to say it, then there's a hard-coded word list which completely blocks the message if it contains gamer words. TWO FUCKING GUYS FIGURED THIS OUT

I may not be the best as I was never a pro b-hopper but from I remember: It's mostly about the arc you're doing with the hop from what I remember (haven't bhopped outside of CPMA/QL in years). It takes a lot of practice to get the exact rhythm and distance your mouse should be moving side to side. Slopes are huge helps for momentum (think any surf map and how quickly speed builds in Source)! Update; Just quickly installed CSS, the arcs are quite wide, do a good first circle jump to start out with momentum then you'll be wanting to turn 45 degrees~ in the direction you're strafing, alternating with each hop. The arc is much bigger than you think it will be. A good way to visualize it is this: Imagine you are playing a platformer or parkour in Minecraft and are jumping from platform to platform, left platform, right platform, how would your mouse move? Try to visualize that :D There's the little "wiggle" shit that people do but I've never understood how that works. Big arcs for big jumps!
