My sister was recently going on to her gay friend about how our mom is a "baby whisperer." When my sister coddles her baby he only rests for 15 minutes before crying. When my mom holds him he can sleep for hours. My sister started taking birth control when she was a pre-teen (Americans were taught it was vital for health). My mom's motherly instincts were intact because she only took a small amount of BC when she was much older but my sisters brains have been utterly fried by it.
