So apparently one of my sister's friends (age 32, lawyer, married to a well to do lawyer bro, mother of two kids) recently came out as a "demisexual nonbinary she/they femme" and revealed she once partook in the demisexual float at the local pride parade fearing that she would face discrimination for it at work if anyone found out... ... I really think some people just need to go outside.

So my mom, who doesn't know why I care so much about the gender circus, comes to me today after a meeting at city hall baffled saying they only had gender neutral bathrooms. And all I could say was, "yup, that's how things are going now."
