Was abortion literally all the democrats had? They seemed silent on the economy, immigration, and foreign conflicts. Any time somebody tried to defend them online it was just "What about women's rights tho?" (the accepted euphemism for killing babies). The whole party became about one issue, and it was the most divisive one they could've picked.
