However, while I can see why some commercial interests might be less than thrilled about such a thing, let us not kid ourselves into thinking that those who are willing to accept a potato CPU, RAM, camera (this probably being the most important for Average Person), and OS incompatible with “anything they want”, is anything but a insanely tiny niche market. Again, I personally like the concept. I also know that trying to sell anyone on it is a losing battle the instant they ask how its camera compares to… name a phone. Or if they can run WhatsApp on it. Or.. name an app that isn’t a native Linux thing.Which is fine. It’s a project device and shouldn’t be judged by the merits of a commercial phone. Of course, there is that niche market which I presume you belong to who don’t care about it being as capable as a Pixel 4 and for which a FOSS OS is more important. Nothing wrong with that at all. Hell, I just wish they offered it with specs that were decent is all
