When my brother moved to Australia the only job he could get was being a prison guard, it sounds so sketchy from the few stories he has told me, but he has been with it for 10 or so years now

I never had a problem with the guards but I witnessed quite a few bashings the guards would dish out

I had a friend who was a screw for a few years at a state prison. He quit. Violence didn't bother him. He said he just couldn't take staring at men's assholes anymore. I couldn't imagine.

I was one for upwards of 15 years here in TX. State prisons, county jail, private units. Maximum , Medium and Min security. Its probably why I am so mean.

My experience with the guys who have worked in corrections for any length of time is that they show zero emotions. Even the nice guys. Is that how you are?

na, I joke around a lot. I like to laugh and be retarded. But working in that environment gives you a very thick skin. Some guys can put on a zero emotion facade it helps at work. It just kinda goes on when dealing with inmates . Inmates seem to do better in black and White situations.
