So, Jewube comes with a new feature turned on by default called "Stable Volume," this basically translates into jacking the volume balance of the video to max. Surely with worthless features like this Jewtube has nowhere to go but straight into the bowels of hell. I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate getting assaulted by media and self playing videos.

I wonder if this impacts using sites to rip mp3 files from the videos. I've noticed that newer tracks I've "acquired" are playing a lot softer. Usually I remember to run them through Audacity, but I don't want that to become a requirement.

It shouldn't be affecting the file format unless there's an altered MP3 getting put up there instead of some audio by the internal Jewtube web player. But, given Jewtube's ability to screw up anything I wouldn't be surprised.

@doonxib@poa.st I just use invidious and mpv with the jewtube-dl integration. Although they aren't very reliable (some days invidious won't work and it's not something you can fix by simply refreshing the page and seeking on mpv with the jewtube-dl integration is very unreliable if that part of the video wasn't already in the cache), but I don't watch jewtube much.

There's a number of tools you can rip Jewtube videos with. Personally, I've never felt the desire, too. They're so trashed out by the upload process that it's basically a waste of time.

Music, old comedic compilations of old shows, and rarely it's the only source for Italian/British films from the 70's. There are a few vestigial talents left over that do occasionally publish something worth watching as well, but that has been diminishing the past few years.
