>trees absorbed no co2 I guess trees stopped growing for an entire year, this would explain why I seen absolutely no leaves on them. Oh wait, I did see them grow and have leaves. Fucking nigger cunts.

They keep fucking saying this 1980: TOTAL ECOSYSTEM COLLAPSE IN 5 TO 10 YEARS 1990: TOTAL ECOSYSTEM COLLAPSE IN 5 TO 10 YEARS 2000: TOTAL ECOSYSTEM COLLAPSE IN 5 TO 10 YEARS 2010: TOTAL ECOSYSTEM COLLAPSE IN 5 TO 10 YEARS Climate change is the most fucking Nothing Ever Happens thing ever. One volcanic eruption puts out more greenhouse gases than humans EVER HAVE.

i remember this shit from when i was a kid. it has to be about inducing a level of baseline stress in the population.

@CatLord@poa.st @IAMAL_PHARIUS@poa.st We really need public access to the data points they pull from for this shit. Is it regional, extremely sparse, cherry picked to high hell? We can't know.

That's the problem with NOAA data. It is very poorly sampled. Around 95% of their weather stations violate their own regulations which do not allow stations within 100 feet of concrete. There is global average temperature increase because the poorly placed stations measure captured heat at night. Bad data yields more funding unfortunately

@jobanab@poa.st @CatLord@poa.st @IAMAL_PHARIUS@poa.st That makes a fantastic new argument for climate change. Large concrete hellscape "cities" are driving climate change, we need to reduce the amount of pavement concentrated in them and replant grass and trees to save the planet. My own State Capital and one of the freeways leading to it have had a trend of being thunderstorm magnets of the past decade or better, that I recall. New accredits it to the heat dome of the city, and I'm sure the freeway is a solid heat line as well.

@IAMAL_PHARIUS@poa.st Life is far more resilient then any of these fear mongering prissies believe. Even if something happens it won't be the end.
