@s8n@posting.lolicon.rocks @1iceloops123@shitposter.club well i mean, USB 4 will be built into future intel south bridge, so laptops with an intel CPU have to have thunderbolt support, and not including it is pure laziness

@s8n@posting.lolicon.rocks @1iceloops123@shitposter.club might've remembered something different, but the point still stands, most upcoming Intel chipsets will come with USB 4, all the manufacturer has to do is hook it up. and USB 4 will have TB3 built in USB 4 is essentially TB3 but intel doesn't own it, theoretically AMD could also do the same thing.
