@noyoushutthefuckupdad@shitposter.world @waifu@mai.waifuism.life When it comes to "Apples to Apples" mechanics, the two games I've enjoyed most have been "Dixit" and "Bring Your Own Book". "Dixit" is a fund game where you have to describe your card, which is a picture likely designed by someone in an insane asylum, with a word or two or less. Good for family gaming with younger kids. "Bring Your Own Book" is good for bibliophiles where you have to respond to a prompt from a book you choose. The fund part of that is when you have to trade books with someone else and do this from a book you aren't familiar with.

"Dixit" is just good because of the open interpretation of the cards. Plenty of expansions. Highly recommend. "Bring Your Own Book" is great because it all depends on your friend group's preferences, and the choice of books everyone brings. "Cards against humanity" sold out after they dropped the anti-Troon cards despite their claims of being transgressive. .
