I just liked anime from the past because it was pure “this is a cool idea let’s do it” there wasn’t some guy from blackrock with a “social accountability” checklist making sure you don’t offend someone who should just be watching something else

@supersid333@gearlandia.haus @xian@ak.kazuma.family you know what’s funny, street fighter 2 had a marketing approval process for it too way back then but I guess they were just good at their jobs so it didn’t hurt the quality. I can’t get into later sf games they are technically good but just don’t feel excellent creatively.

I was a Kage main of all things, the character was an ugly troll that was an ungodly combination of Evil Ryu, Oni, and Dan that just clicked in my hands. 6 just looks so ugly that I wouldn't want to touch it even if it was the greatest fighting game to grace god's green earth.
