@sneak@s.sneak.berlin you can look in to the Drupal Gorean fiasco, although i don't know what its easily searchable pet name is. It was exactly a woke-cancel fail though. One of the developers went to Gorean (BDSM) events as himself and didn't represent himself as a Drupal developer but he did use the same person-name at both places. After some time Drupal-actual found out about it and they said he wasn't welcome anymore because his activities violated feminism or somesth. Goreans are one of those sex things where a large proportion of the women in the setting are slaves to men but the people engaging with the fiction are doing so voluntarily. So his activities in gorean groups were nowhere near the kind of generalized misandry they 'thought' they were signalling against.
