@arcana@fedi.layer02.net @solidsanek@outerheaven.club @sun@shitposter.world this one was actually supposed to be a reply to 'what will you name it'.
claude code is very different, i wouldn't necessarily call it better than cursor, it's just a very different workflow. It's also a lot more expensive. I like to mix the two.

@lain@lain.com @solidsanek@outerheaven.club @sun@shitposter.world do they conflict on the same projects or are they fine in tandem?

@arcana@fedi.layer02.net @solidsanek@outerheaven.club @sun@shitposter.world the biggest problem with these code assistants is that they are competent but have the memory of a goldfish, so you always need to find a way to get them pointed in the right direction in the least amount of characters possible.

@sun@shitposter.world @david@blob.cat @arcana@fedi.layer02.net @lain@lain.com @solidsanek@outerheaven.club you could pay for training and learning. Even if you don't like it. First - it's a good skill for you portfolio, second - learning helps with aging, your mind will be occupied with learning new stuff and age slower. Idle mind ages quickly.

>He has put blood sweat and tears into Pleroma-FE, not just because he wanted the result but because he enjoys working on it and it's important to him. It's been a years-long labor of love, an artistic and creative process.
And to be fair, it really shows. Pleroma-FE is one of the best and least convoluted spaghettified codebases I've ever looked and worked with. Most of it is easy to understand even to me. Same with Pleroma-BE.

@hj@shigusegubu.club @david@blob.cat @arcana@fedi.layer02.net @lain@lain.com @solidsanek@outerheaven.club @sun@shitposter.world The really obnoxious thing is that AI automates the fun part of building software while being utterly useless at all the hard and tedious parts

@hj@shigusegubu.club @david@blob.cat @arcana@fedi.layer02.net @lain@lain.com @solidsanek@outerheaven.club @sun@shitposter.world what's the point of doing that, wasting time, doing stuff he doesn't really wanna do, when he can use the ai stuff and have more time to do stuff he does wanna do?

I'd love to see something like pleroma-fe but for mitra

Mitra supports Pleroma-FE. mkljczk's fork it to be precise, but it should be compatible with upstream.
