I'm laying this on the table: I have the funds to support myself for a moderately long amount of time (years but not decades), I have an absurdly good safety net, and I'm a reasonably capable individual. I should exploit this to do something of actual value. I'm having trouble thinking of something that fits the following criteria: 1) It is something that an individual can achieve *more or less as one person* within the span of roughly 3-4 years. 2) It has a good chance of making money 3) It helps actually worthwhile people. I can often manage an idea that solves 2 of those three. For example, I could try to build a "third place" (think bar/coffee shop)...things like this have a gross tendency to get overrun by niggers. I could create media worth consuming...but due to media being largely jew-controlled, anything that will sell will hurt people. I could start a factory...that helps our government, which hates us. So on and so forth. The only thing I can think of that only right-wing people consume is gym equipment/fitness gear, and I would not be a reasonable fitness trainer. Is there something I'm missing that I could break into? I want to actually do something, I don't want to sit around being a useless faggot online for my entire life.
I'm not trying to become literally Hitler 2, I'm just trying to identify a reasonable business to start that won't feed ZOG too much.

@ceo_of_monoeye_dating@lab.nyanide.com you could create a third place anyways, most are fine, i think you're imagining worst case scenarios. one thing i always wished i had the money to do as well is rent for below market rates but still profitable. i consider the initial investment a loss but in theory you could still make your money back long term. but yeah if you're constantly paranoid of bad outcomes or inadvertantly supporting people you dont personally like you'll never do anything
@Owl@nicecrew.digital "too much." Of course taxes are a thing, but there's a difference between "making NTR nigger porn on Netflix" and "selling protein shakes to aryans and getting taxed a bit."
@ube@spergia.net This is the US, not Latvia. Third places in the US are dead because niggers shit them up.

@ceo_of_monoeye_dating@lab.nyanide.com I've had these types of thoughts before and besides ideas that only enriched myself what came to mind was creating local infrastructure. Everything is imported, so if you could somehow compete with china by creating something local, a product not a service you would be part of the solution. What that product could be is the conundrum.

@ceo_of_monoeye_dating@lab.nyanide.com the u.s. varies wildly i dont know where exactly you are in it. for fucks sake im in detroit and theres quite a few good places and even fairly white places mostly outside the city limits. do you never go outside or something? not everything is some cherrypicked video on pol. hell, you wanna talk about the blacks, the awful urban violent whatever cultural type is not the kind of people who go to cafes for instance. also right to refuse service to anybody and those types dont tend to have money for a legal fund if you wanna be real racist about it
@dj@ak.parcero.casa I had the same thought - I actually think I could break into the glass manufacturing industry, and I have character traits that make this more viable than it would be for others - but the problem is that I actually think that building up US manufacturing causes more harm than good! Building up US manufacturing helps prop up a country that has repeatedly told manufacturers and industrialists that it hates them. I'm not doing that. I *can*, but I *won't*.

@ceo_of_monoeye_dating@lab.nyanide.com The only thing that I could think of involves having a clean and sturdy building with old, classical music blaring out loud to deter the homeless and also moon crickets.

@ceo_of_monoeye_dating@lab.nyanide.com the real death of third places in the states id argue regards the hassles of car dependencies and because like, shit costs money and is just getting more and more expensive.
@berkberkman@shitposter.world Wait, this is kind of the answer, isn't it?
You play classical music in the third place and enforce a basic dress code. Yeah, this is actually the piece I was missing. Holy fuck that's simple. I even knew about this.

@ceo_of_monoeye_dating@lab.nyanide.com I honestly wouldn’t recommend starting a business. If anything, I’d pivot into the investment space and go the route of managing people’s money/your own. Unless you have acuity for some specific industry the reality is you probably don’t have enough money to meaningfly start something (if you don’t have deep prior understanding of an industry. Costs ad up insanely fast. For example in construction I can make good money, but I basically went broke this winter off one job that, no shit, wiped out 20k in 7 days because of cost over runs. Even a coffee shop, once you buy the building/get a lease you’re looking at 30-50k per year in mortgage/rent and probably 200-300k of Reno needed and then every employee you add even minimum wage will ad 4-6k/month in overhead. Even if you have a pool of 500k liquid cash you could burn through that in 6 months maybe a year if you miss the mark or profit projections or misjudge the market for whatever you start. My two cents - invest it, be aggressive, try to double if. Sure, the market is a gamble but you have more control and there’s less risk.

@ceo_of_monoeye_dating@lab.nyanide.com While it is effective (especially if the store's a musical instrument shop, for example), the only loophole that I could find is that some crafty coon could just use earplugs and/or be deaf. As for dress code, how would that work? Summer and winter uniforms?
@Tony@clew.lol Much of what you're saying is the purpose of business loans, and of course I have a good amount of time to develop acuity for an industry. I'm not saying "I'm gonna start NOW RIGHT NOW WITH MY OWN MONEY." Right now I can tank a risk to the tune of "2-3 years worth of a career." The effort puts something on my resume and someone who can navigate the process of getting funding can keep themselves from being screwed - and I have connections which will absolutely help me navigate this space. I'd also disagree that investment is the right way to go: if you start a business and run it, your day job is doing the thing that your business does. If you invest on the side, then your day job is whatever gay ZOG thing someone else's business does. Even if the ROI is poorer, I'm also not in this purely to maximize dollars.
@ube@spergia.net Infrastructure is car dependent because public transit is infested with niggers. Nobody wants to use public transit because of it.
@Tony@clew.lol The action that maximizes dollars probably involves outright succing jew dicc. The problem is "sustain life while doing something actually useful," not "become notch and clock out."

@ceo_of_monoeye_dating@lab.nyanide.com real estate might be the best bet for you then. I’d go with 20-40 units (big enough to hire management company and not get dragged into tenant issues). My say is buy an investment property. But go as big as you can because it’s less risk. In a 4 plex one tenant leaves you lose 25% of monthly revenue, in a 20 unit building you lose 5% per vacancy. Yah, if I were you I’d buy a multi family building, and hire a management company to manage it.
@Tony@clew.lol I actually do have connections that make real estate an easy investment, and it's something I do regularly consider. There's also family pressure to get into it, so there's that. If I don't come up with anything better once the housing bubble bursts, then yeah I'm gonna find that bottom and slurp up a property or two. I'd *rather* do something of actual value, but it is an option that I consider often.

@ceo_of_monoeye_dating@lab.nyanide.com Multi fam also scales like a mother fucker. You get one thats like 1.2 mill, pay on it for 5 years, leverage it into a second, leverage it into a 3rd, ect. If you go that route you'll be worth 7 figures in 20 years like guarenteed. Plus you can 1039 exchange properties and just never pay tax on gains. The secret they don't tell you though, is that "bubble" in multi fam is a scam. The only thing that matters is the monthly rent roll. Equity is just fake numbers. You can be upside down on equity and still profit if the rents make sense. But yah, thats what i would do.
@zerosum@poa.st I'm not that kind of mathematician, sadly.
@Tony@clew.lol >If you go that route you'll be worth 7 figures in 20 years like guarenteed. I could be worth 7 figures in 15 years just by grinding my career fam.

One possibility is making stuff related to astrophotography, specifically on the hardware side. There is a massive lack in American made equipment that does not intentionally cost an arm and a leg, and there is a growing market in "smart telescopes", basically all-in-one or self contained imaging platforms that can be easily controlled remotely. It's still possible for individuals to still disrupt the industry, but the problem is that it does not satisfy point 3, your clients are going to be boomers and the typical IFLS redditors.
@Sui@decayable.ink This is the first thing that I asked myself actually! The quick answer is "I think it would be best to provide a good/service which helps young men (think 20-30) develop themselves into intelligent, strong, happy people." Essentially, I think growth/personal development are good things, I currently care about the young (millennials/zoomers/alpha) more than I care about the old, and (in order) I care about intelligence, happiness, social skills, and health being cultivated among those groups. I also just have more empathy for men than women. I also acknowledge that cultivating wellbeing in evil people does more harm than good. I do not want to help a jew cultivate intelligence if he's going to use it to steal and rob others, for example.
@Elliptica@poa.st Yeah, I actually have a strong dislike of astronomy as a field of study. I don't even consider astrophotography to be within the same field as what I study. The study of astronomical bodies is so vastly different from the study of earth-bound objects that the imagery is just...almost not even the same thing.

Ok, good place to start. What sorts of problems can you see for that demographic? Maybe a training/employment agency, that is actually for the employees rather than the usual bullshit. You could also set it up as a charity if you do it carefully, lower expenses a bit and encourage donations to help you achieve what you're after.
Reply to @[email protected]
Well, it's not strictly astronomy, it's really almost all imaging science. 90% of astrophotography is finding ways to mitigate noise and amplifying signal; since most of the targets are so faint, in order to extract any signal lots of steps are needed to reduce noise produced by the camera. There is also a growing trend of using AI and deconvolution / corrolation methods to improve image resolution, so it has a wide range of applications outside of the field.
@Sui@decayable.ink Reverse recruitment agencies exist. They're usually very bad: people who hire them usually have difficulties landing jobs for very good reasons, and the clients who pay for these services usually start out in a bad financial spot which is made worse by hiring someone to do something that's impossible. Berkman above pointed out that playing classical music and setting up a classical motif in a third place would naturally run off nigs, so I came up with an idea that's slightly on the unique side from that: essentially a studycel third place, and if I set it up near a university/church/masonic lodge then I'd be able to set up a place for young men to cultivate their intelligence *and* make some money by selling study goods to them. Essentially a coffee/tea shop with chalkboards, classical music, and pictures of famous historical smart people.
@Elliptica@poa.st The amount of signal that's there is so extremely small that you end up with problems in the subpixel range. For things on earth, you have a lot more signal, so things that are just comically impossible for astrophotography are trivial. Even if there's overlap in the two fields, the gap is huge.

@laurel@fsebugoutzone.org The thing is that everything I can think of like that for my industry helps ZOG more than it helps good, young men who want a job. Putting such men to work for a country that hates them is obviously bad.
@Mark@nicecrew.digital @dissidentsoaps@poa.st That's an interesting idea, but I'm ill-suited for that sort of brand. I try to be a kind, calm, mliquetoast palm-shaker. That's just bad for the sort of work DS does!
