How much money do people typically dedicate for a PC build nowadays?

@nihilvt@loli.rodeo Gah, I dunno if I wanna blow that much on just the PC alone. Wanna get a unicomp model m later anyway which costs like a hundy.

For my EU bucks, 1500 for something that I hope lasts for 5 years. More bucks to future proof it further.

If anyone wants a good idea of my ideal computer, I would like to exclusively use parts from 2019 or earlier. The GTX 1080 still has a weird price nearly 10 years later last I checked.

@nihilvt@loli.rodeo My gaming comes down to Minecraft, Roblox and valve games from 2 decades ago. So it wouldn't be a huge deal. Might just get a Mac Mini or something though the price for one looks really good.
