US taxpayers shouldn't be required to fund people's HRT and sexual reassignment surgeries. If a guy can't pass the APFT, can he claim to be trans and pass the women's standards and threaten claims of discrimination if anyone questions it? Will a woman claiming to be trans be expected to meet male APFT standards? Do female soldiers have to sleep in the same barracks as any male claiming to be trans? Shower with them in open showers? This shit makes no sense unless you're going to also create additional facilities. All in all, it's a huge financial drain that isn't necessary. And if someone says it doesn't impact unit cohesion and readiness, they're lying.
