Helldivers 2, by Sony decree, is no longer making it optional to not have a PSN linked account. I've spent too much time in the game so no refund but, I'm uninstalling it. more room for boomer anime.

Could try contacting steam to ask for a refund anyways, emphasizing that psn wasn't a requirement when you bought the game.
