The more I learn about Steve Jobs the less impressed I am. He didn't invent the Apple II, Woz did. He didn't invent the GUI, Xerox PARC did. He didn't invent the MP3 player, dozens existed already. He didn't invent the iphone, the engineer he hired to create the ipod did. He didn't run Pixar, he just owned it and barely paid any attention to it for a decade. He contributed zero ideas to Toy Story.

@judgedread@poa.st Compared to modern CEOs, at least he was a good talker and had at least some degree of ambition beyond "Milk and then sell-off before the dip". That's already an achievement by current standards
