@ghost_@spinster.xyz What did I just watch >.<
The first comment on youtube says "this is the best anti-porn advertisement ever", a good summary for this video I thought.

In a previous iteration of my corporately expressed true self, I attended CES, in which AVN was deliberately scheduled to coincide -- and AVN advertised and accosted CES attendees of a certain "look" in the hotel hallways. It infuriated me to see so many techcels delighted by this entrapment. Many men don't even bother to hide their AVN badges worn along side their CES.
Tech and porn, forever wed, forever refused to be covered with anything but giggles and jokes.

The rules only sex tech companies have to follow at CES
Hereโs what sex tech companies arenโt allowed to show.

Husband's first job, working for Canadian company Tucows (know them?)...one nasty techcel watched porn in the office, as he worked. No repercussions.
Situation normal, all fucked up.

@Hollahollara@spinster.xyz I worked at the startup that eventually became HotJobs. It was an open desk environment - no walls or cubicles - guys who worked there would openly look at porn on their computers, no shame. The female employees had to bring it up in a meeting.
