There is an extraordinary "reproducibility crisis" in the sciences, particularly in biology, where most published papers fail to replicate. Most universities have massive bureaucracies that inhibit the translation of basic research into commercial adoption. The voting patterns of university professors are so one-sided that they look like the election results of North Korea. And on top of all of this, many universities explicitly engage in racial discrimination (mostly against whites and asians) that violates the civil rights laws of this country. Our universities could see the policies of the Trump administration as a necessary corrective to these problems, change their policies, and work with the administration to reform. Or, they could yell "fascism" at basic democratic accountability and drift further into irrelevance.
@jdvance@bird.makeup Reminder that there are people on rightwing Fedi who voted (or at least claimed to vote) for the Sheboon wife of a Jew over Trump and Vance.

Trump's Israeli simping is beyond tiresome but then again so with Kamala, it would have been silent strong Israeli support while pandering to retarded proggies and niggers and browns while the country would have been too far gone.

@ChristiJunior@detroitriotcity.com @jdvance@bird.makeup I'm actually growing very unhappy with Trump and Republicans, especially in their push for families and children, censorship of pornography, and worship of corporations. I'm becoming more and more a Democrat every day, not a modern woke Democrat but an old-fashioned union Democrat.
@leespringfield1903@poa.st @jdvance@bird.makeup People who cite Obama as a counterexample should recall that even Barack Hussein waited until he didn't have to run for office again before slightly cutting back support for Israel.
