. At least it's not too bad in other worlds that are not too busy. But I think that this game would be best played on an emulator. Thank you for reading my blog post.

no part of that GPU was being used for Minecraft, and assuming you got it around release, so this would've been beta Minecraft, the cpu was doing fucking everything, half of the io operations being done in single player beta mc are just renaming files

@icedquinn@blob.cat @mikuphile@gearlandia.haus this is the legacy console edition, which has minor differences which we zoomers cherish

@s@freesoftwareextremist.com @mikuphile@gearlandia.haus renaming files or directories I can't remember all that well, either way Minecraft was very inefficient when it came to saving level data

@s@freesoftwareextremist.com @mikuphile@gearlandia.haus I should've said 'doing everything inefficiently', because the large amount of overhead generated by the constant file renaming and other hacks causes stuttery gameplay whilst loading new chunks even on much newer hardware. I've played Minecraft Beta 1.7.3 on a laptop from 2017 with an SSD and I still experienced a minor amount of stuttering.

@icedquinn@blob.cat But those versions don't have split‐screen
. Also I don't want to deal with kikerosoft accounts
.
