moment of respect for autistic females who did not realize they were autistic until they were older, autists that were told there was something else wrong with them, autistic females on the internet getting told that they are actually men, autistic females mistaking the emotional consequences of social estrangement for gender dysphoria, autistic females being outcast from communities about their special interests for being female, autistic females that pretend to be men online just to be respected in spaces about their special interests. (this post is about cis women with autism, this post is not about trans women nor is it about transgenderism, please do find the time to think about celebrating the respect of autistic trans people as well, elsewhere.)

@smooky@pleroma.soykaf.com i feel that way too also same with every other mental disorder label. its all just more reasons to outcast ppl who think differently and try to get them on meds that just make things worse for them in an attempt to make them "normal" cuz they dont wanna take all the bullshit and would rather mind their own business and focus on their own thing
