julian398a [email protected] emulation is a gift but it's always not perfect Which is why that if you emulate games it's always good that you emulate them on the native console Not emulation on a computer because emulation on the computer is not always perfect like for instance PS2 is a perfect example Not all games emulate very well at the PS2 so it's always good to buy an old PS2 soft modded with free mcboot and then run your games through there It's a longer and not free process if you don't own a PS2 but at least all your games are guaranteed to work unlike the emulation software that is PSX2 Which I don't like because it's fucking trash and it can't run certain ps2 games at all? Which is why I still have my ps2 console and I am glad that I do it was worth it tbh

DiceySpikes [email protected] I get that and for the most part I agree, soft modding your og console an making it play games from something like a hardrive will generally be superior to an emulator but I think that's a question of time and effort rather than just being impossible to achieve on a pc, I mean they only got read dead 1 running like 1 or 2 years ago

julian398a [email protected] Yeah but at the same time it's far more better than doing it on your computer again the effort sucks but at the same time if you're in it for the long haul it's a really good way to play your old games emulation is definitely not perfect on certain consoles Like I would say emulation from the NES all the way to maybe Dreamcast is okay Well except for the Nintendo 64 because emulation on that console does not work with all games Kirby 64 and donkey Kong 64 is a perfect examplewould you like I said certain consoles if you want to play games and emulate them you're going to have to buy the original console and soft modded A lot of effort but if you really want to play them without no bugs or graphical glitches it's that or bust.
