Which part is so unbelievable? Raising a dog is a hassle and when you're single and trying to date, it's a constant annoyance. Oh, c, let's go walk my dog. I'm not feeling great, can you walk my fucking dog? Only exception I'll give is for rural people who actually put them to work.

The hits at the heart of my original post here. I don't hate dogs. What I'm saying is that I think they're generally more trouble than they're worth, for my personal taste, and I don't want to deal with a woman who has one as a pet because it's basically guaranteed that it's going to be a frustrating factor on my time with her. She COULD have a well trained dog but even then it's not a big plus IMO. Most it does is tell me she's a good dog trainer and at least somewhat disciplined when she wants to be. Flip side, now I have to help walk it, feed it, give it attention, and avoid letting it steal my food and licking my mouth anytime I'm near the floor. This is apparently the mindset of an animal abuser.
