You know what grinds my gears? How we still have to put up with shit like signing for packages and garbage "time windows" for when some group that made a appointment to fix something in your home will be available for spaning 4-6 hours where you have to be at home the entire time else miss them and have to deal with "rescheduling" which often means they won't be coming again for possibly months at a time. For both situation you don't know when the person will show up but have to be home for them and at times both won't actually show up at all and still penalize you for them being lazy or "not having someone avaliable" despite it being SECHDULED possible months in a advance for 1 of them. That's some straight up BS. If you want my money and continued service than you come at a time around 1 to maybe 2 or 3 hours on a day I choose that I can be avaliable. For the package signing you can kinda do that at times or just ignore it and go pick it up but like at that point I think I'd rather pay like an extra 20-30 bucks for a better delivery/insurance so they just are careful where they put my package and with it and drop it off like any other package instead. Yes that's still some BS that if there was an option like that I'd have to pay for it but come the fuck on, working adults 90% of the time are either asleep when these two types of people come or not at home for various reasons including work where your held hostage for a set amount of hours and can't just pop back in at home to check I'd the person has come within a garbage ass time window. I have something like that happening today and next week and I keep getting maybe like 17 minutes of sleep than waking up not knowing what time it is or hearing my phone make a notification noise sense I have it on incase a guy coming to inspect something calls me on it. It's such BS and one might think if I'm around just stay up and in general this time cause I got like 4ish hours of sleep I kinda of can but most of the time I Don't even get that and am up for closing in at a full days time. When I was younger I could go maybe 3ish days without needing sleep to badly but nowadays I can maybe make it to 2 SOMETIMES. The bigger issue is that these asshats usual show up in the early ass morning and I am no morning person. Wanna show up in the evening? I'll probably be ok, wanna show up at night? I'll be ready for you, wanna show up in the morning? ZzZzZz... WHAT WHAT?! IOh shit I missed em... That's why I am jumpy getting up figuring out what time it is, I have missed these dickweeds before and it screws with everything given their BS avaliablity. In terms of packages I'm partially grateful that you can many times opt for no signature but there are still certain delivery services that make it a pain in the ass and the wording makes you question if you submitted it for no signature or not.
