this trial against chauvin is so bizarre in how much time is dedicated towards irrelevance e.g. deifying floyd and trying to repair his character vs. focusing on the actual case at hand. why are we wasting time and resources trying to make floyd out to not be a drug-addled felon but rather some kind of saint? it’s irrelevant. we’re here to determine if chauvin did or did not murder floyd through his misconduct. how about instead of bringing people up to talk about how nice they thought floyd was in 2018 we analyze the timeline of events surrounding and during his fatal police encounter? or dissect the toxicology report and coroner’s report? is this case meant to determine if floyd was a good boy who dindu nuffin or if law enforcement’s actions resulted in his expiration? bc so far i really can’t tell.
