It's a typical political stunt. Like I said no balls. They are aware that tariffs are going to take time to equalize in the American economy, and in the meantime it's going to hurt America. They don't have a long view of anything, they are politicians.

The long term goal of tariffs should be to return manufacturing to America. Even with slave labor, It makes NO sense to me that it's cheaper to build something in China and ship it across the Pacific than it would be to build in our own communities. Imports should be luxury items and should be taxed as such. If Trump wanted to MAGA, returning manufacturing to America would be a top priority.

@ChadleyDudebro@nicecrew.digital @fknretardlol@decayable.ink @DMA@nicecrew.digital @thefinn@poa.st That's what happens when you invest in infrastructure over a long period of time and value education as a society -- your society is able to build things and sell it to the world. Restricting people from trading with america isn't going to 'equalize' america on anything other than a subsistence poverty level. "Imports" allow for division of labour across the entire world, allowing efficacy far surpassing what's possible on this continent.

What you described is what is the plan. Poverty and slavery. Zero questions asked.

@DMA@nicecrew.digital @fknretardlol@decayable.ink @ChadleyDudebro@nicecrew.digital @thefinn@poa.st You can tell the tariffs have nothing to do with slavery since nations like canada with anti-slavery protections in law are getting hit while countries with actual slavery are not. Tariffing canada more than china alone should clue you into that.

@DMA@nicecrew.digital @fknretardlol@decayable.ink @ChadleyDudebro@nicecrew.digital @thefinn@poa.st Sure. And the US is both loosening restrictions on it internally and firing people involved in policing it.
