The 3 main jobs I held after the military I was able to bypass HR entirely for the hiring process. Same for the one job offer I got more recently (turned down due to the location) after 100's of applications. I have technically never made it past HR to an interview.
@John_Darksoul@poa.st same, every job I’ve ever gotten my whole life did not go through HR, meanwhile every app I sent in that had to go through HR never made it where it needed to.

). Far different than what you might be aiming for.
