Yeah I remember one version of Game Gear came with Columns and one came with Sonic. I saved up money mowing lawns to buy the blue one that came with Sonic.

game gear was expensive as shit but at least it had a full color screen that was backlighted.

Same here. I'm going to put hardwood in all the rooms and then just put rugs down for the cats. That way I can just replace them if they fuck them up instead of just being stuck with crappy carpet forever.
