i will say that while this a fun action thriller, they also really thought Kamala was going to be president at the time. it's pretty funny.

@Chzikken_1486@poa.st yeah, Angela Bassett's character. they call her "Madame President" and I could tell they thought that was what the country was going to look like. they probably would have written the US differently if they knew how the election would turn out.

They didn't have to show who was President in any of these types of movies as a character. So they somewhat ruined it
@Chzikken_1486@poa.st I will say this isn't exactly "the real world" anymore, we're running on Black Ops worldbuilding here. all of "cyberspace" is being overrun by an AI called "The Entity" so this is a little more sci-fi than usual.
