metokurist - https://poa.st/users/metokurist It kind of depends on what types of books you like. My first credit was used on The Way of King's by Brandon Sanderson. Which is a fantasy series with a hard magic system (the authors speciality is making really good magic systems). But I tend to listen to audio books when I walk or hike. Since running or jogging can distract me from what's going on in the book

@Publius@paypig.org you will struggle to find a high fantasy book I haven't read that is worth reading

metokurist - https://poa.st/users/metokurist Audible is great really because it let's me consume books while also doing stuff like cooking, walking, working out etc.But audio books aren't ideal for things like philosophy books which require a lot of rereading of the same paragraph several times than an audio book wouldn't be ideal for.

Eris - https://kiwifarms.cc/users/Eris metokurist - https://poa.st/users/metokurist Mistborn: The Final Empire is probably a better book to get into Brandon Sanderson. It has a much greater focus on fantasy and the magic system with hard rules and consequences.Way of Kings starts off as very low fantasy quite like game of thrones. The sequels have far more magic and progressively becomes more high fantasy as the characters develop

Eris - https://kiwifarms.cc/users/Eris metokurist - https://poa.st/users/metokurist the others are good too. It just goes into more large scale apocalyptic fantasy rather than being Oceans 11 with magic magnet powers
